The Township of Madawaska Valley is throwing its support behind its local MPP’s private members’ bill, calling for better protection against violent offenders.
John Yakabuski’s Bill-21 will now compel inmates to sign their certificates of parole and calls for electronic tracking on violent offenders after release, if a danger is posed.
The bill was re-introduced to the house on the one-year anniversary of the murders of three women in the Madawaska Valley.
