Raise to Minimum Wage Comes into Effect this Weekend

There will be a minimum wage increase for workers in the Madawaska Valley, and across the province.

Tomorrow, Ontario is raising the wage from $11.25 to $11.40.

Ontario says food servers will also get an increase from $9.80 to $9.90.

This is the tenth minimum wage increase since 2003 keeping Ontario wage the highest in the country.
