Pop Ministries is teaming up with our local food bank to help raise money for the upcoming winter months.
The Homecoming Soccer Tournament is being held by the local Christian charitable organization in partnership with the Madawaska Valley Foodbank.
From the organization, Faith Archer says historically athletics have been a great medium for getting people involved.

Archer says the organization is planning more than just the soccer tournament with the food bank, including a special Christmas program supplying full turkey dinners and hand made cards for food bank users.
The tournament kicks off on Saturday, October 8th at the MVDHS soccer field with registration starting at 8:00am.
