Gallant Addressing Taxes in Parliament Opening

Parliament has officially opened for the term, and the Conservatives are planning on cracking down on high taxes.

That’s according to the PC Critic for Regional Development for Northern Ontario, Cheryl Gallant.

She says the taxes are affecting the entire country, not just northern Ontario.

Gallant says that means for every dollar the employee puts in, the employer has to as well.

She says there’s only so much to go around for employment, leaving employers to decide who stays and who goes.

She says the Conservatives will focus on being the voice of the tax payer this term.
