OPP Conducting Surveys in Eastern Ontario

Residents may be receiving calls from the OPP and it’s an opportunity to give feedback on policing in your community.

The surveys, which have already begun in some areas, are random and completely voluntary.

The OPP says feedback from the communities it serves will help to shape policy, practices, where to focus on enforcement and where to focus on education.

The survey results are confidential and will be a part of the OPP’s Business Action Plan and Annual Report.

Police are asking residents to be honest about their concerns as it’s a great opportunity to have their voices heard.

The surveys will be done via telephone and are expected wrap up in late November.
