The Madawaska Valley Fire Department will be conducting a large-scale mock disaster exercise tomorrow, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at P38 Energy, located on Highway 60 in Barry’s Bay.
Residents in the area can expect to see a significant presence of emergency vehicles and personnel at the site during the exercise.
The department let the public know that this is a training event only, designed for educational and preparedness purposes.

There is no threat to public safety, and the public is asked not to interfere with the exercise while it is in progress.
