Healthcare Foundation Charity Golf Tournament Tees off Friday

Homestead at Wolf Ridge Golf Course will be hosting over 150 competitors going head-to-head on Friday to benefit local healthcare.

It’s all part of the St. Francis Valley Healthcare Foundation’s annual fundraiser.

Executive Director of the foundation Toni Levigne-Conway says the tournament is entering its 12th year.

She says last year’s total was around $20,000 and organizers are hoping to break the $200,000 mark for all years combined.

Levigne-Conway says the community’s support of local healthcare in the Madawaska Valley has been incredible in the tournament.

Local businesses and organizations make up the over 50 sponsors and partners in this year’s tournament which tees off at 11:00am on Friday.
