Free webinar on Wednesday teaches about animal tracking

Are you curious to learn more about those paw prints in your backyard?

On March 19, The Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC) is hosting a free webinar called The Art of Animal Tracking.

The non-profit organization said Canada’s outdoor landscape is nature’s message board, where wildlife leaves clues about their daily lives.

The NCC said tracks, markings and subtle patterns reveal fascinating stories — if you know how to read them.

Participants can sign up through email or Zoom for the 5:30 p.m. workshop.

NCC’s Aerin Jacob and Joseph Litke, a biologist and animal tracking expert, will lead the group through the discussion and Q&A, where participants will learn simple identification tips.

After the event, you can ‘put your skills to the test with your very own wildlife tracking guide to bring to your next outdoor adventure.’

The NCC invites people to bring their questions or submit them when they register.
