In a social media post this moring Madawaska Valley Township identified a water main break affecting some of the Barry’s Bay area.
“Township staff and OCWA are aware of a water main break in the area of Stafford St and Queen St impacting water pressure within Barry’s Bay.
As of 9 a.m. the town says that normal pressure to the rest of town should be restored shortly, “though those in the immediate vicinity will have their water impacted while repairs are underway.”

The township asks that people please avoid the area to allow crews to work and thank everyone for their patience.
