It’s a hazardous waste drop-off day next week for residents of Madawaska Valley.
From 10:00am to 4:00pm on August 20th residents of Madawaska can drop off any hazardous materials for disposal at the Paul J Yakabuski Community Centre in Barry’s Bay.
The township says hazardous waste is not picked up curbside and opportunities like this are a good chance to get rid of it.

Residents can bring anything from chemicals, florescent bulbs, propane tanks and antifreeze – just to name a few items – which will be disposed of safely by the township.
