SFVHC announces almost 50K raised on ‘Thank-you Thursday’

It’s ‘Thank-you Thursday’ according to St. Francis Valley Healthcare foundation.

The foundation announced that they raised what they called an ‘astonishing’ $49,347 thanks to their Giving Tuesday fundraiser where all donations to their Tree of Lights Campaign were matched dollar-for-dollar.

The Palmer Rapids and Area Lions Club, St. Francis Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, Killaloe Lions Club, MV Lions Club, Barry’s Bay Legion, and Quadeville & District Service Club were the donor sponsors for the matched funds.

The almost $50,000 raised exceeded the foundations original Tuesday goal of matching $16,500.

There is still time to make a gift to the Tree of Lights Campaign by calling 613-756-3045 ext. 217 or visiting www.sfvhfoundation.com by December 31.
