The Tree of Lights campaign will support St. Francis Memorial Hospital. The hospital is set to undergo a 6,000 square foot redevelopment to its emergency department as well as a 6,000 square foot renovation to its ambulatory care clinic.
The project will address space, privacy, infection control and occupational health & safety concerns. Redevelopment will include a private registration area and triage room, self-contained exam rooms, as well as designated space for patients dealing with emotional or psychological distress.
According to St. Francis Valley Healthcare Foundation, those who wish to support the project can purchase tree lights in memory or appreciation of someone special.
The Tree Lighting Ceremony will be held at the Railway Station in Barry’s Bay on Dec. 6 at 6:30 p.m. The community is invited to the ceremony, which will include music from the Station Keeper’s Choir, treats, refreshments and a ‘Santa’s petting zoo’.
