North Hastings residents aren’t the only ones affected by rising hydro prices, some businesses are being impacted as well.
Owner of the Bancroft Eatery & Brew Pub Rey Krupa says the increasing hydro and distribution costs are affecting his business’ bottom line, along with many others’.
Krupa says his business has tried to find ways to conserve energy, but rising electricity costs mean businesses have to cutback in order to remain profitable.
Other businesses in North Hastings are also expressing concerns about the rising cost of electricity.
