Good news for Madawaska Valley parents.
As of September 1st fees for simply being on a waiting list for day care won’t be allowed.
The new rules will put an end to the practice that many parents call unfair.

Ontario is the first province to ban wait list fees.
Child care operators have until the New Year to work on a public wait list policy that clearly explains how children are chosen for day care spots.
