Anyone lose a chainsaw? OPP put call out to victims of theft after recovering stolen items

This August, Killaloe OPP recovered a significant amount of stolen property at two separate locations in the area.

Items include a battery powered chainsaw, drone, grease gun and subwoofer.

The items were found along Highway 60 in South Algonquin and on Mask Island Drive in Madawaska Valley.

Police believe the items were stolen and abandoned for unknown reasons.

So far police have been unable to locate the owners and are now asking those who have had items stolen to contact Killaloe OPP at 613-757-2300 in order to determine if the property belongs to them.

To assist in proving ownership of their items, the victims are encouraged to provide things like serial numbers and/or unique identifying markings on property, receipts and any other documentation or evidence supporting ownership of the property.
