Hasting Highlands Looking to Begin Partnerships with Local Libraries

The Hastings Highlands Public Library wants to collaborate with other local branches.

Library CEO Kimberly McMunn says the aim is to create collaboration between libraries in Bancroft, Faraday, Carlow Mayo, Barry’s Bay and Whitney.

McMunn says there isn’t much known about what the project will mean at this point, but plans are in the works.

McMunn says the collaborative effort will make libraries in the area more cost effective, and make it easier to apply for grants.
