Kamaniskeg and Area Property Owners Association (KAPOA) hosted its annual Poker Run on July 27 and recently donated the proceeds from the event.
The event raised just over $34,000, with proceeds going to local healthcare including the purchase of telemetry capabilities for St. Francis Memorial Hospital (SFMH). This will allow healthcare staff to wirelessly monitor patient heartbeats and vital signs throughout the hospital.
