The Friends of Algonquin Park have published a second edition of A Few Rustic Huts by S.R. Gage.
The updated 100-page book called “a glimpse into Algonquin Parks early ranger lodgings”, contains historical and present-day photographs of ranger cabins and logging camp buildings in the Park.
Most of the 14 cabins have been refurbished and are currently available for overnight rental through Ontario Park’s reservation system.
