A Forest and Lake Health Summit is taking place tomorrow in Wilberforce.
Economic Development and Business Coordinator Curtis Tighe says the summit will aim to teach people about forest pests, invasive species, and what they can do to improve the health of the forest and lakes on their property.
A number of organizations will be on hand, including Haliburton County, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry, and the Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters.
The event takes place at the Lloyd Watson Centre from 9:00am until noon.
