For those looking to learn a bit more about local reptiles, the township of South Algonquin is hosting an interactive presentation about snakes and turtles, with a special focus on Ontario species.
The event is free and the library says it will offer an all-ages-friendly presentation and hands-on experience.
According to the Library, all of the snakes will be available for hands-on interaction, however, the turtles will be for the presentation only.
The presentation will take place Thursday, July 30 at the Lester Smith Community Center in Whitney.
