A Pembroke woman has won the latest Catch the Ace draw. Sandra Born bought her ticket online and said she chose number 44 because that’s the number of years she has known her best friend Cathy.
Sandra has never won anything before and she’s happy to be taking home the weekly prize of $2,244. Her friend drove her to Barry’s Bay to claim the prize.
Sandra plans on using a portion of the winnings to buy herself some new flowers for her garden.
Estimated jackpot next week in the St. Francis Valley Healthcare Foundation’s progressive lottery is $2,400.
