Barry’s Bay Library helps poverty action group who collect snowsuits all year round

The Renfrew County Community Poverty Action Network recently sent out a big “thank you” to the Barrys Bay Library. They say because of the library’s clothing drive they were able to refill their inventory of gently used snowsuits and boots. They say the amount of winter- wear they got will keep the benefits flowing into the community this next winter.

The community action group says they try to collect snowsuits in the off-season because it can be tricky for them to manage both inflow and outflow at the same time in their space.

The mandate of Cpan is to increase awareness of the extent and consequences of the effects of child poverty in the Renfrew county community and to take action

CPAN invites anyone who wants to run a snowsuit drive to get in touch with them,

CPAN phone:  613-735-9573, email [email protected] or by sending a facebook PM.
