This year’s community Seedy Saturday event is coming up this weekend. It’s for gardeners of all ages and those new to gardening. It will feature organic seed/plant vendors, a seed exchange, community organizations, regional “Seed Library”, workshops for adults and children throughout the event, great food and door prizes donated by local businesses.
We spoke with organizer Celene McClintock about the event:
“It’s a wonderful place for people to get together and talk to their neighbors about gardening” Said McClintock,
“I see the whole gardening community as a whole bunch of eternal optimists, So it’s a great crowd to be among”
She also spoke about some of the things you’ll find there.
“Vendors that have organic seeds, there are root perennials, microgreens, seed potatoes.
