Service Ontario mobile units coming to the region

The province’s new Service Ontario mobile service centres will be rolled out to a few nearby municipalities.  

Ontario’s Minister of Public and Business Service Delivery Todd McCarthy announced Monday that units are already up and running in Burk’s Falls and MacTier. 

He added that by April, centres will be stationed in Apsley, Denbigh, Whitney, and Moose Deer Point First Nation. 

The centres offer services like drivers licenses, parking permits and vehicle permits and plates.

  • vehicle permits and plates 
  • stickers for commercial vehicles 
  • accessible parking permit 
  • driver and vehicle records 
  • health card and insurance (OHIP) 
  • organ and tissue donation 
  • birth, marriage and death 
  • photo card 
  • apostille/authentication of documents 
  • fishing, hunting and camping 
  • housing and property 
  • taxes
