St Francis Valley Healthcare didn’t have to go far to find their week 18 Catch the Ace winner!
Sandra Lafleur was visiting her husband upstairs at St. Francis Memorial Hospital on Feb. 29 when she got the call that her ticket was picked in the draw that afternoon.
She headed downstairs and claimed her prize right away.
Sandra, who is from Foymount, said she always tries to support Catch the Ace because the lottery helps purchase critical medical equipment for the hospital.
She chose envelope 7 because it is a holy number for her. Although her envelope revealed the Queen of Diamonds, she is excited to go home with the weekly windfall of $1,388. She said she’s never won a prize so big. Sandra will be putting the money in the bank and holding on to it for a rainy day. The estimated weekly prize for Week 19 is $1,450.00.
