Spring load restrictions coming into effect on area roads

These are a yearly measure, taken during the spring thaw, a period when roads system are susceptible to damage.  

March 1, restrictions come into effect on Hastings Highlands roads.  

Madawaska Valley Township says that they plan on putting up signs for March 1rst. 

And on March 4 the restrictions will come into effect for Bancroft roads. 

For the next several weeks vehicles will be limited to a maximum load of five tonnes per axle.
