The Maple Leaf snow skimmers are hosting their silent auction and fundraising breakfast this Saturday at the ANAF barn in Maynooth.
From 9 am til noon you can get a full breakfast for 15 dollars with all proceeds going to the Snow Skimmers.
Steve Lang who is out grooming the trails today says that the skimmers have some of the only available rideable trails right now, and that there’s also lots of ways to get to the event.
“This is an open event to the public and all are welcome– whether they walk in, drive in or sled in from the Hastings Heritage Trail” Said Lang “The Army Navy Air Force Club volunteers are providing the breakfast. And this is just a great example of two not-for-profit local entities working together. Snow Skimmers volunteers have been collecting over 125 items. The business community has been very generous and we’re quite thankful”
Silent Auction bidding will close at 11:30.
