Snowmobiler charged with impaired driving

Killaloe police have laid an impaired driving charge on a snowmobiler after responding to an assistance call. 

Police say that On February 17, just before 9:00 p.m., members of the Killaloe Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), responded to the call for service on Highway 60 near Primrose Lane in the Township of North Algona Wilberforce. 

As part of the investigation, one person was arrested and charged with failure or refusal to comply with breath demand. 

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court on March 19, 2024, Ontario Court of Justice, Pembroke. The accused’s driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days.
