A group of students from Madawaska Valley High School have been working hard to raise money for this years Prom.
They are now hosting a raffle with the top prize being 4 Leafs vs Senators tickets at Canadian Tire Place on Feb 10th .
Other prizes include Yeti cups as well as gift cards from local businesses.
Tickets are on sale until February 2nd and can be purchased through the Mvdhs Prom facebook or instagram page. The draw will be on February 3rd.
They group says they are hoping to cover the costs of the prom for all the graduating students such as dinner, a photographer, decorations and any other costs that may arise.
Other fundraising events the group has hosted are a pepperette fundraiser and a bottle drive.
They noted they’ve had great community engagement so far and hope to do a volleyball tournament in the spring.
