Killaloe OPP issue several arrests in late December

Killaloe OPP responded to several calls where violence was reported over the holiday period.  

A 50 year old from Killaloe Hagarty Richards was arrested on assault charges after police were called to a home in the municipality on Dec. 22.  

A 45 year old from Etobicoke was arrested on charges of uttering threats, assault and forcible confinement after police were called to a Brudenell, Lyndoch and Raglan home on Dec. 23. 

Then, on Christmas Eve, police arrested a 47 year old from Killaloe Hagarty and Richards with breaching release conditions, after being called to a home in municipality.

On Christmas Day, a 33 year old from North Algona Wilbeforce was charged with domestic assault after police were called to a Bonnechere Valley home. 

And on Boxing Day, police arrested a 36 year old from Bonnechere Valley with domestic assault and assault with a weapon after being called to a home in that municipality. 

Another arrest happened earlier in December. Killaloe OPP, on Dec. 20, arrested a 63 year old from Bonnechere Valley with uttering threats, assault with a weapon, possession of a dangerous weapon and careless use of a firearm.  

The investigation started after police were called to a home in Bonnechere Valley that afternoon. 

These incidents caused police to issue a reminder that support is available for those in abusive relationships.
