Madawaska Valley honoured some of its longest-serving staff at Wednesday’s council meeting.
Basil Etmanski received an award recognizing 35 years of service for the municipality.
James Shalla and Clayton Pecarski received awards recognizing 30 years.

Six other employees were handed awards for making the milestone years of 20, 15, 10 and 5.
Mayor Mark Willmer made the presentations and said their service is a testament to the municipality’s ability to retain staff.
