The Madawaska Valley Food Bank is closing in on its year-end fundraising goal for after Friday’s Moose FM Spirit of Giving Radiothon.
The food bank hopes to raise $45,000 by the end of the month, to help support families through the busy holiday season and beyond.
The Radiothon brought in $20,000 on Friday alone, thanks to generous donors at Valu-Mart and Metro, where 106.5 Moose FM was broadcasting.

The fundraising drive now sits at $34,000 so there’s $11,000 to go.
