Renfrew County’s MPP is expressing concerns about the recent cabinet shuffle by the provincial government.
Renfrew-Nipissing-Pembroke MPP John Yakabuski says the Liberal cabinet has been rejigged following a number of resignations heading into the legislature’s summer recess.
Yakabuski says, of the 56 Liberal MPPs eligible to be cabinet members, 30 are a part. This has made for the most bloated cabinet in Ontario’s history.

He says the province needs to be saving money, and adding more positions to the provincial cabinet will do anything but that.
