A festive weekend in Barry’s Bay is upon us.
St. Francis Valley Healthcare Foundation is hosting its Tree of Lights ceremony on Friday, Dec. 1.
Activities get underway at The Railway Station at 6:30 p.m.
A tree will be lit with lights representing donations made to support St. Francis Memorial Hospital.

And several businesses will host holiday activities into the evening, as part of the Barry’s Bay BIA Moonlight Madness event.
The Madawaska Valley Public Library will have activities for kids, including a reading of A Christmas Carol at 7:30 p.m.
Festivities continue the next day, with Santa Claus coming to town for the Barry’s Bay Santa Claus parade.
