OPP arrest two from storage unit break-ins investigation

A McNab-Braeside resident is facing numerous charges, following a Killaloe OPP investigation into breaks-ins at storage units.  

The 29-year-old faces 20 break and enter charges, plus 13 more charges on a range of other crimes, including mischief and illegal possession of a firearm. 

Another person, a 35-year-old from Algonquin of Pikwakanagan First Nation, faces four charges, because of the investigation. Two are related to stolen goods and two more are related to firearms.  

On Nov. 12, Killaloe OPP officers responded to reports of break and enters at storage units on Round Lake Road in Killaloe Hagarty and Richards.

And on Nov. 21, Renfrew OPP officers were called to a Horton Township storage unit where more break and enters had been reported.  

The two people charged were released from custody and given court dates in Pembroke for January 3.
