It’s game on, so to speak, for the outdoor rink in Killaloe.
Killaloe Hagarty and Richards has received an Ontario Trillium Foundation Grant to improve the rink and make it a place that can host events and programs for years to come.
A grant of $134,500 was announced for the facility on Saturday.
The money will be used to install a new board system, intended to make the facility safer and lead to better ice.
Killaloe Hagarty Richards Mayor David Mayville says the funding is great for the community, as the rink is a “vital” part of its recreation services.
