Council members of Hastings Highlands have approved requests from the Maynooth and Hastings Highlands Business Association.
Acting Deputy Clerk Suzanne Huschilt says during a recent council meeting, they discussed the Maynooth Madness parade.
She says local OPP will be conducting traffic during the event at the intersection at Highway 62 and Highway 127.

She says they decided to put the music fest and beer tent by the ice rink, closer to the farmers market.
Huschilt says the event is on September 3rd, 2016.
