Killaloe OPP has four investigations underway, for which they’re asking for the community’s help.
One involves damage to a tombstone in a cemetery on Hwy. 127 in South Algonquin Township. Police were called there last week and found someone had poured paint on a tombstone.
The other investigations are for break and enters and thefts.
One involves two lime green Fisherman kayaks, stolen from a hunt camp on Hay Lake in South Algonquin. Police believe they were stolen around the end of August.
Police are also investigating a break and enter to a Sandhill Drive home in Madawaska Valley, reported on Sunday. Cash and a safe were stolen.
The detachment is also investigating break and enters into two storage units on Round Lake Road in Killaloe Hagarty and Richards, reported this weekend. A list of the stolen goods is still being compiled for police.
Anyone with information on any of these incidents is asked to call the detachment at 613-757-2600 or Crime Stoppers, anonymously, at 1-800-222-TIPS or www.valleytips.ca. You could receive a cash reward of up to $2,000.
