African Serval Cat on loose, poses threat: OPP 

An African Serval Cat has escaped from a Bonnechere Township sanctuary and police say it poses a safety threat.  

Killaloe OPP says the cat is about 25 pounds, with a spotted coat and pointed ears. It could attack mid-sized livestock and pets.  

Police were alerted early this morning that the cat had escaped from an African Serval Cat sanctuary on Corrigan Road. Animal Welfare Services are also on the case.  

Anyone who sees the cat is asked to call police. If it’s an emergency, call 911.
