Hastings Highlands is working to organize a Stewardship day in Maynooth.
Mayor Vivian Bloom says the event is in collaboration with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry, and a number of other organizations.
The goal will be to teach residents the importance of preserving our lakes and forests.
A tentative date has been set for July 21st, although there is still work to be done before anything is confirmed.
