We’ll soon find out again which group has the best brains in Barry’s Bay.
The Madawaska Valley Public Library’s Trivia Night is coming back on Friday, Oct. 27.
The event starts at 7 p.m., upstairs at the Paul J. Yakabuski Centre.
Registration is $75 for a team with a maximum of six players. The proceeds support programming and equipment at the library.
At Trivia Night events, teams hear a series of questions, covering all kinds of subjects, from pop culture to science to sports and even local knowledge. The team with the most correct answers wins.
At last spring’s Trivia Night, a team from Madawaska Valley Food Bank (pictured) won decisively by getting 68 of 80 questions right.
But Library CEO Natalie Barrington points out, it’s a “fun, friendly competition” that often brings out family, friends, and co-workers.
During the night, door prizes, donated by local businesses, will be handed out.
Teams can register by dropping into the library, at 19474 Opeongo Line.
