As the fall colours come alive, local artists are getting ready for the autumn edition of the Madawaska Valley Studio Tour.
Eighteen artists will be showcasing their work on the weekend of September 30-October 1.
Their studios will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both days. A map with the locations is at www.madawaskavalleystudiotour.com
Works will be available for purchase and students and young artists will be at some studios as part of the Tour’s mentoring initiative.
Tour organizers say many artists are drawn to Madawaska Valley for its “majestic landscapes” and “rugged yet beautiful” qualities. This tour is a chance for arts supporters to see where they live and work.
