Hydro One has a planned power outage very early that morning.
It affects a large area of cottage country, including Bancroft, Barry’s Bay, Coe Hill, Whitney, Killaloe and areas in between. More than 5,000 customers will be affected.

It’s scheduled for 5 a.m., but is only expected to last 15 minutes. Hydro One says the planned outage is to perform “switching” work.
