Eight Bancroft residents will receive the Ontario Volunteer Service Award tonight.
Officials say the ceremony is to appreciate people’s dedication and continuous years of service to local organizations.
They say the Bancroft General Hospital Auxiliary will also be recognized.
The award ceremony is tonight at 7:30pm in Belleville‘s Banquet Centre.
