The Hastings Prince Edward Public Health Unit wants residents to be courteous while sharing the road.

Officials say avoiding collisions with cyclists is easy with a few good driving habits.

They say bikers should follow the same rules of the road as a car by using hand turn signals, obeying tragic signs and look around before acting.

Officials say adults and teenagers should ride on the road, not the sidewalk.
