Killaloe OPP responds to assault, break and enter, theft

A Pikwakanagan woman has been charged with assault, after Killaloe OPP officers were called to a dispute last week.  

Police were called to a North Algona Wilberforce home at about 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 2. 

The woman, aged 60, was arrested with the one charge. She was released and given a court date in Killaloe on Sept. 13.  

Killaloe OPP has also charged a Madawaska Valley resident with break and enter and theft.

Police were called to a Dunn Street home on the afternoon of Monday, July 31.  

After an investigation, the 41-year-old was arrested.  

The accused was released and given a court date in Killaloe on Sept. 13. 

Killaloe OPP is also investigating a theft from a vehicle. 

Police were called to Kranz Road in Killaloe, Hagarty and Richards on Friday, Aug. 4.   

Police say, the window of a parked vehicle was smashed, and a purse and personal contents were stolen. 

Anyone with information is asked to contact Killaloe OPP at 613-757-2600 or Crime Stoppers, anonymously, at 1-800-222-TIPS. You could receive a cash reward of up to $2,000.
