Music show supports Station Keepers’ playground campaign   

Let’s Get That Train A Comin’ .  

That’s the name, and the purpose, for a fundraising concert coming up in Barry’s Bay. 

The event takes place on Saturday, Sept. 9 at 7:30 p.m. at the Barry’s Bay Legion. It’s described as a singalong and a dance along and it features local musician Mike Kelly. 

Proceeds from $15 tickets will support efforts to build a train-style play structure at Water Tower Park, just outside The Railway Station. 

Those efforts are being led by The Station Keepers, the group that promotes the historic building.
