UPDATE: Monday, July 24, 5 p.m.

A Bancroft OPP spokesperson says rescue workers are doing everything they can to find a man who went missing on Saturday.
Police are searching for a 75 year oldwho’s only identified as Denis.
He was last seen on Saturday, at about 1 p.m. in the Bulpit Lake area, east of Bancroft. 
Denis is 5-foot-10 with a medium build. He is bald and wears glasses.   
Police also say he may be wearing a blue and white collared shirt, blue jeans and running shoes.   
OPP crews and other rescue workers have set up a camp at Hermon Public School, near Bulpit Lake. 
Const. Joel Devenish says the search will continue as long as necessary. 
“We’re trying to throw all our resources at it that we can,” he says.  
“We have Bancroft OPP Detachment members there and the Bancroft Area Crime Unit, the OPP Aviation Services, the East Region Canine Unit, the East Region Emergency Response Team and the Underwater Search and Recovery Units are all on scene there, assisting in the search.”

Bancroft OPP searching for 75-year-old man

Saturday, July 22: 8 p.m.

Bancroft OPP is asking for help in locating a 75-year-old man, who went missing Saturday. Police say he was last seen in the Bulpit Lake area, east of the town, at about 1 p.m. 

Police only identify the man as Denis. They say he is 5-foot-10 with a medium build. He is bald and wears glasses.  

Police also say he may be wearing a blue and white collared shirt, blue jeans, athletic socks and running shoes.
