Killaloe OPP lay charges after collision, attend ATV crash

A Pembroke man is facing charges, after a collision in Killaloe Hagarty and Richards.  Killaloe OPP was called to Round Lake Road at about 8 p.m. July 4. 

Officers ended up arresting the man with failing to report a collision, failing to remain at the scene and possession of a weapon contrary to a prohibition order.  

The 44-year-old was released and given a court date in Pembroke for August 9. 

ATV riders injured 

Two ATV riders were sent to hospital following a collision in Bonnechere Valley on July 7.

Killaloe OPP was called to a single ATV collision on Fire Tower Road. 

Police say the ATV operator lost control and struck a tree, ejecting the operator and a passenger. 

A 29-year-old and a 56-year-old, from Perth East Township, were taken to hospital. Police say their injuries are not life threatening.
