If you’re looking for a good book to read this summer, the Madawaska Valley Public Library can help.  It’s not just lending books, it’s selling them, too, to raise funds.

CEO Natalie Barrington says the library’s used book sale will continue through the summer. It’s the library’s biggest fundraiser, as it brings in about $5,000 per year, which supports programs and equipment.

The library encourages donation of books in good shape. They can be purchased for a donation of your choice. There’s now a wide variety of genres available, including mystery, romance, sci-fi, children’s books and more.

Donations can be dropped off during regular hours.
